What this helps you do

Create a local export from the currently selected view and filters.

Find it in GitGlow

Open an export-capable Activity or Insights surface and choose Export.

Before you start

Formats and Pro requirements depend on the source view; local export never publishes content.

Steps

  1. Set the exact filters and date range to export.
  2. Open Export and inspect the included fields and format.
  3. Choose the destination and verify the completed local file.

Expected result

The exported file reflects the visible scope and retains its documented data boundaries.

Controls

The controls for this workflow appear in the steps above. Their availability follows the repository, connection, and edition requirements on this page.

Recovery

If the workflow cannot continue

If generation fails, the current view remains intact. Adjust the destination or scope and retry.
