Choose GitHub Inbox or a repository’s GitHub tab.

Before you start

Pro with an authorized GitHub installation; local files and GitHub context may be linked without being merged.

Steps

  1. Choose an installation and repository.
  2. Filter and select the relevant pull request, issue, workflow, or check.
  3. Open its detail or connect the corresponding local checkout for full Git review.

Expected result

Hosted status and local checkout identity are shown as distinct but related sources.

Partial or unavailable GitHub data is labelled. Reauthorize or refresh rather than treating it as local absence.
