What this helps you do

Inspect working-tree and staged patches in unified or split form before acting.

Find it in GitGlow

Open a repository and choose Changes.

Before you start

Free for trusted local repositories. Text patches above the bounded renderer limit and unsupported files remain whole-file only.

Steps

  1. Choose a file under Conflicts, Staged, Unstaged, or Untracked.
  2. Switch Unified or Split and optionally toggle whitespace.
  3. Use previous and next file controls or open File history for deeper context.

Expected result

The diff identifies the exact working-tree or index state and exposes only valid actions.
