What this helps you do
Register an existing checkout or create a new trusted local repository.
Find it in GitGlow
Use Repositories, then choose Open repository, Clone repository, or Initialize repository.
Before you start
Opening is Free. Clone and initialize require a valid parent folder and a destination that is absent or empty.
Steps
- Choose the setup action that matches the repository state.
- Review the exact local destination and remote URL, if any.
- Confirm the setup preview and wait for Git to finish before navigating away.
Expected result
The repository is registered and becomes the active checkout only after Git succeeds.
Controls
The controls for this workflow appear in the steps above. Their availability follows the repository, connection, and edition requirements on this page.
Recovery
If the workflow cannot continue
Authentication and filesystem failures preserve the prior registration state. Correct the cause and create a fresh preview.
