Before you start
History inspection is Free. Pages load up to 200 commits and can request the next boundary.
Steps
- Search by message, author, SHA, or path.
- Filter local refs, remote refs, tags, or dates.
- Select a row to open commit details without losing the graph position.
Expected result
Topology, refs, selected commit, and inspector remain synchronized.

If the workflow cannot continue
If a boundary is reached, load the next page. Clear filters when an expected commit is hidden.
