What this helps you do
Expose bounded GitGlow context and reviewed actions to compatible clients.
Find it in GitGlow
Configure the packaged gitglow-mcp sidecar in a supported MCP client.
Before you start
Free MCP access is read-only. Pro MCP writes require the desktop app, a trusted repository, a current preview, and native approval.
Steps
- Install the packaged server using the platform-specific path.
- List resources and run read tools against a trusted repository.
- For an allowed write, create a preview and approve the exact request in Agent Observatory.
Expected result
Read results remain bounded; approved writes execute once through fixed native operations.
Controls
The controls for this workflow appear in the steps above. Their availability follows the repository, connection, and edition requirements on this page.
Recovery
If the workflow cannot continue
Arbitrary shell or Git commands, destructive cleanup, history editing, force pushes, and PR merges are excluded.
