Observe supported local Codex sessions or launch a managed run through Codex App Server.
Find it in GitGlow
Open Agents, choose Connections, and review the Local Codex card.
Before you start
Observed connections use opt-in supported hooks. Managed Codex uses the existing Codex authentication and requires Pro.
Steps
- Confirm that Codex is detected on this Mac, then choose Preview changes to inspect the GitGlow-owned hook entries.
- Choose Connect Codex. GitGlow backs up and merges its entries without replacing unrelated hooks; approve the GitGlow hook in Codex if its trust prompt appears.
- Continue a real Codex task in a repository registered with GitGlow, then choose View activity to inspect the observed run. Start managed run is a separate option when GitGlow should launch the task.
Expected result
GitGlow labels each run Observed or Managed and exposes only provider-supported capabilities. Hooks installed confirms configuration, while a real run confirms observation.

Recovery
If the workflow cannot continue
If no run appears, check Codex hook trust and repository registration. Diagnostics and privacy contains the hook preview, a synthetic GitGlow intake test, and removal; the intake test alone does not prove Codex sent an event.
