Before you start
Pro with GitHub access. Draft creation and publication are separate; publication requires a fresh final confirmation.
Steps
- Select the authorized repository and target branch.
- Review checks and included work, then edit release notes and tag.
- Preview Create draft or, when explicitly chosen, continue to final publication confirmation.
Expected result
A draft remains editable on GitHub; publication occurs only after the final guarded path succeeds.
