What this helps you do
Authorize an installation and keep hosted access separate from local repository content.
Find it in GitGlow
Open Settings and account, then GitHub Integration.
Before you start
GitHub features require GitGlow Pro and an authorized GitHub App installation.
Steps
- Start GitHub sign-in from Settings.
- Choose an authorized account installation and repository.
- Open GitHub Inbox and optionally connect an existing local clone.
Expected result
GitHub context becomes available only for authorized repositories; local paths remain a separate boundary.

If the workflow cannot continue
Expired or removed authorization returns a reconnect state without deleting local registrations.
